Col’s Cabs Luggage Policy

Please read this policy before booking

Airlines calculate luggage by weight. For road transport, we must also consider the amount of space every item occupies.

Please give us a complete and accurate luggage list when booking. This allows us to provide the correct vehicle for your comfort and safety.

Hold luggage

For every suitcase, please tell us:

• Whether it is hard-shell or soft-shell

• The number of cases

• The approximate size of each case

A standard large suitcase must not exceed:

76cm high, including wheels × 45cm wide × 26cm deep

Expandable large cases are classed as XL cases.

If any case is taller, wider, deeper or expandable, please provide its full measurements.

Hand luggage

Please list every item and tell us whether it is:

• An under-seat bag

• A cabin case

• A rucksack

• Another type of hand luggage

Additional items

Please tell us about every additional item, including:

• Travel cots

• Pushchairs

• Walking aids

• Wheelchairs

• Golf clubs or other sports equipment

• Boxes, bags or packages

• Any other item travelling with you

Safety requirements

All luggage must fit safely inside the vehicle’s designated luggage area.

Luggage cannot be carried loose in the passenger compartment. This is for the safety and comfort of our passengers and drivers and to meet insurance requirements.

An incomplete or inaccurate luggage list may mean that the vehicle allocated is unsuitable for your journey.

Available vehicles

Depending on passenger numbers and luggage requirements, we can provide:

• Large saloon cars

• Large estate cars

• Short-wheelbase minibuses

• Long-wheelbase minibuses

We cater for solo travellers and groups of up to eight passengers, subject to luggage capacity.
